one and still crazy

Not all that long ago my sister send me a text.

"you want an orange kitty?"

And for some reason I still can't quite figure out... I said yes.

So I met her at my parents' house and picked up a teeny, tiny 3-week old lump of orange fur that I decided to name "Louie". (Also known as "Phillip" or "Cat.")

He was so young (much too young to have left his mother) that I had to give him kitten formula. He liked it. And he grew.

table kitty

He knows he's not supposed to be on the table. He stretches out as flat as he can... hoping I won't see him.

Or something.

cat in a box

When Louie isn't terrorizing Taylor, going hardcore Parkour all over the house, knocking things over, or stealing my things (make-up, pens, ear plugs, string, etc.)... I'm putting him he's climbing into things.

Like boxes.

aww nap buddies!

I have to be quick and snap photos for evidence!

Please note that Louie (the cat) is on the blanket and Taylor (the dog) is just next to it--barely tolerating Louie being in his "bubble."

tissue paper and kitties don't mix

Or actually, they DO mix... but a little too well.

Unless you don't want to use the tissue paper.

I was having a tough time making the tissue paper pom-pom flowers for the baby shower I helped my sister with last month.

You see... Louie likes tissue paper. A LOT. (Really, anything that crinkles.)

My first clue was this:

Plz?

This is what happens every meal time. Taylor complains under his breath but otherwise doesn't do anything.

(Is it just me or does Louie looks HUGE in this photo?)

maybe I'll toilet train him next

Crate-Trained Cat

Louie is the first cat I've ever seen that is quasi-crate-trained.

He actually likes to go into his carrier and goes in on his own.

He's strange.

It's a big, big world out there

Taylor and Louie

Especially when you're such a little, little kitty.

I decided to take Louie outside for some fresh air. I want him to be an inside cat (I'm an over-protective kitty and puppy mom) but occasionally take him outside... leashed, of course.

Louie Discovers the Toilet

A little while back I mentioned that Louie fell/jumped into the toilet and promised pictures...

Finally... here they are! There aren't very many, and they aren't the greatest, but still. It was difficult taking pictures of a wet kitten that refuses to sit still, all while laughing.

shred or recycle?

My office is in that much-worse-before-it-gets-better stage.

There's piles of odds and ends with no place to go, things to get rid of...

And I have two plastic tub things I've been using for my recycle and shredding.

RAWR!

RAWR! *yawn*

Hahaha. :)

(Louie's only ~6 weeks old in this photo... even then he was full of spunk. He's about 10.5 weeks old now! Oh how time flies...)

Zonked Louie

While I was celebrating  Miles' birthday and then with the ladies for Jordan's bachelorette, my critters were romping and frolicking with their critter "cousins" and "siblings" at my parents' house.

They love it there. Taylor gets to run with his brother, Sunny, and the Aussie girls. Louie gets to wrestle with Noah, my sister's newest kitty, who is the closest to Louie's size (but probably still twice as heavy) and torment Moses, Sister's older kitty.

Louie says “POW!”

Louie Attack!

For your Monday morning I thought I'd share this photo... I can't help but laugh when I look at it. Louie was attacking poor Taylor left and right. This photo pretty much sums up their relationship so far.

I think it's Louie's Chuck Norris alter-ego coming out.
