I got to check off a couple more when Laura (with Elle) and I went on a little photo adventure to Port Townsend.
I hadn't been to Port Townsend in ages... I knew I liked it, but forgot how much.

Laura lives much closer to PT now so she's become much more familiar with the wonderful shops there than I have ever been. I would have wandered aimlessly if I was there alone and would have missed out on a ton! I wish I could remember the names of the places we went into... there was a wonderful used bookstore, a huge antique mall, a great art gallery co-op, fun toy stores, a yarn shop... and the list goes on.

I had a delish fruit smoothie from Better Living Through Coffee with a yummy ham and cheddar sandwich. (I took a photo of the sign so I can remember that one!)

I love the history present in Port Townsend. Many of the buildings have signs with their past uses... like the old customs house.

There are also lots of remnant advertisements of the sides of the brick buildings throughout downtown.

We strolled down to the marina where the Port Townsend summer band was getting ready to perform and the Victorian ladies (and a gentleman) were out and about, with sailboats going by in the background.

It was such a wonderful day! I can't wait to get back to Port Townsend (the used bookstore and antique store won't let me stay away for long)... and to spend more time with the Kings!
I had such a great day with you! I hope we can do it again soon :)
