Way back in 2011... we hosted a baby shower for Erin and Marcus.

(It really wasn't THAT long ago, but it sure seems like it!)

Like I mentioned here, Erin and Marcus decided to wait until the baby was born to find out the gender. Their little one turned out to be a little girl, Ellarue Mazely, who arrived on November 8!

We went with a gender-neutral jungle theme with lots of colors, cupcakes, and yummyness.

My friend Chelsea's robot baby shower was a few weekends ago. Her sister (and my high school pal) Ashley did an amazing job! Not that I'm surprised. She has mad crafty skills! She had help from her lovely mother and even her beau pitched in with his own artsy contributions!

My sister and I hosted a baby shower for one of her close friends, with help from two other friends of the momma-to-be's.

We went with an Alice-in-Wonderland/Mad Hatter tea party theme. The shower had been in the works for awhile so I was looking forward to finally putting our ideas into action!

Jayme and I made a bunch of tissue paper pom-pom flowers. We strung lines of them across the living room using fishing line so that it would look like they were floating.
