I had been blogging over at Miss Sarah for awhile now, but I'd been itching for something new. My life is at a different place than when I started Miss Sarah. I still wanted to write, but felt like I needed a new name, a new site, a new beginning to continue with the new direction my life seems to be going.
So here it is. Life. Love. Sincerely.
Sincerely means a lot to me. It is even incorporated into my photography business name (Sincerely, Sarah B. Photography). Sincerely describes my outlook on everything in life, everything I do, everyone that I care about, everyone that I love--I do it all with sincerity. It is a word that I hope is used when friends and acquaintances describe me. Sincere. Genuine.
It makes sense that it should be a part of my new blog name as well. A blog where I will share all that is me, all that I do, all with sincerity.
I had been doing really well blogging on a regular basis over on my Wordpress blog but I more or less fell off the wagon recently. I really like Wordpress, but I can't access the site during my lunch hour anymore, so that really put a limit on my ability to write! So here I am: back to Blogger with a new name and a fresh start.
I am hoping to start blogging on a more semi-regular basis. I imported my older posts from my Wordpress account, so all my old projects are still here. The links probably don't all work in them and there are probably photos that are missing among other issues... maybe I'll get to fixing those someday.

Post-A-Week 2011
Wordpress is hosting a "Post a Day/Week" challenge... and I'm signing up!
I decided to post at least three times a week (M-W-F) last June... and somehow I've managed to keep it up! And often with more than three posts a week!
I decided to commit to this challenge to help me keep up my posting for 2011. I hope to still post at least three times a week--everyday is a bit much for me. I'm afraid that my blog would turn into a few "real" posts intermixed with lots of photos of my dog and cat.

KIT
Remember when we used to write that in yearbooks?
Keep In Touch.
I could go off on a nostalgic tangent brought on by that alone... but that is not the point of this post.
I just wanted to give you a heads-up that there's a new way to get in contact with me if you so desire! I just added a Contact page (up top next to my About page).
I realized that I didn't have my email address posted or any other way to get in touch with me outside of commenting on posts!
So I decided to fix that.
Now if you have a question, a general or personal comment, inquiries about my photography, suggestions for projects or posts, or just want to introduce yourself and say "hello" without being restricted to commenting on my blog posts... you can do that here.
I have no idea how many (if any at all) messages I will receive through the Contact page, but I plan to respond to each and every one as soon as I am able!
KIT, my friends.

Freshly Pressed!!
I logged into my Wordpress account this evening and did a double-take...

That kitty looks a lot like Louie.
Wait.
That IS Louie!
My DIY wreaths post is being featured on the Wordpress Freshly Pressed!!
I can't quite believe it. This post (and the screenshot above) will serve as a reminder/proof that it happened.
On that note... I'd like to welcome all those who were taken in by Louie's cute mug chomping on my Christmas lights, and thank you for visiting my little corner of the online world! And for the wonderful comments!!
I invite you to read a bit about me and my lil' blog and to take a look around at some of the other things I've been up to recently... like the birds I painted for a gift, or the engagement shoot I did for a couple of friends in Tacoma (or the one I did at Clear Creek Nursery), and I can't forget to mention the cuteness that took place during the first snow of the season!
I also have to send some blog-love to the NewlyWoodwards, the hosts of the Dare to DIY blog party and one of the reasons why I was encouraged to exercise my craftiness this holiday season! (Check out what other DIY-ers came up with for the "dare to deck the halls" challenge this week here!)
Again, thank you... and enjoy.
