DeMille's Farm Market

After we got our suburban and left Chilliwack, we continued on our way to Calgary by going north and east through Kamloops (where we were supposed to stay) and into Salmon Arm. Mom spotted a tall water tower on the side of the road that read "DeMille's Farm Market" with signs for fresh corn and made the quick decision to pull over and check it out.



Best. Decision. Ever.

It had a bit of lots of things that I love... like old, rusty tractors and farm equipment...









Beautiful vistas (and old buildings and fences)...





A petting zoo (complete with goats, sheep, llamas, creepy emus, cows, pigs, chickens, bunnies, turkeys, peacocks, ducks, and guinea pigs)...













Plus more rusty stuff, tractors, wheels, and awesome barn doors...









Oh, and I can't forget the awesome washroom sign:



Priceless.

They also had a little antique store, a coffee shop, and the market itself with lots of fresh produce and goodies.

If you are ever travelling along the Trans Canada Highway through Salmon Arm, BC... take some time to stop at DeMille's Farm Market! It's great for kids, too. (They can feed some of the animals at the petting zoo area! I would have, but we had to get back on the road...)
