first swim of the summer

Sunday was quite warm for our Tollers... Taylor had to find refuge in the shade of my wheelbarrow! So we decided to give them some real relief in Dyes Inlet.



This was Rina's first time REALLY swimming.



I think it helped to have the boys there for her to pick on/show her what to do.



Before we knew it, she was leaping into the water just like the big boys.





Even my Tay-Boy started leaping! Usually he just plods into the water. So proud.



This is my favorite sequence of Miss Rina leaping... she's like a bunny/cat/puppy in the way she pounces:







They all had fun... and so did we, of course.



Rina was so tired she put up with some snuggle-time with me when we got back to the house.



But not tired enough to not take advantage of Taylor plopping down next to me...



... and stealing his ball.
