clematis dreams

My dad built an amazing trellis/arbor/lattice fence thing a few years ago for my their side yard.



I credit/blame him for my belief that anything can be built... and often built better than what you would find in a store.



I want something like their trellis/fence for my side yard so I can have a bit more privacy when I use my deck--and so I can have a place to plant clematis and other pretty things.



The hard part is coming up with a design. Where do you start when anything is possible?
