My Friend, AnnaBell

Ok, her name isn't actually AnnaBell. It's Annaliese.

In junior high we gave her a middle name (she didn't have one): "May."

Sometimes I still think of her as "Anna May Bell" even though she's married now, uses her maiden name as her middle, and has a new last name.

But whatever.

I don't have any recent photos to share of Annaliese... the first picture that came to mind that I could post is from my 16th birthday party and is of Annaliese's mouth full of M&M's.

Then I decided I shouldn't post that photo because the point of this post is to wish her a Happy Birthday-- and I don't think she'd appreciate seeing partially chewed M&M's... or the thought of other people seeing those M&M's.

So Happy Birthday Annaliese! I won't post that photo!

You're welcome. :)

You are awesome and I wish you didn't live so far away. Send some of that Louisiana warmth our way, will you? Or better yet-- come visit again and bring it with you!

Yeah, I like that option much better.

  1. I have to admit, a big part of marrying Spencer was so that I could end up with the initials ABC. And Addie will just have to marry correctly so she can have ABCD. I do remember that party by the way--and the eating of untold multitudes of M&Ms. Thank you for the birthday present of not posting that online:) And we are coming up to WA in May to see Richard's soon-to-be-born baby. And this time Spencer gets to come so people will know that I have a real husband not just a figment of my imagination. We'll have to book another photo shoot with you for the whole fam this time. Anyway--thanks for the birthday post!

  2. 1. I can't believe that Richard is going to be a dad. I've come to terms with the idea that I have to grow up but I think that all of our siblings should have to stay the same age and be the goofy kids we once were. (Because clearly we aren't goofy anymore.) 2. YAY!! I'm so glad to hear that you're coming back up this way in May... and with your imaginary hubbie! Another photoshoot would be fantastic and a great excuse/reason to see you for longer than I did at Liz's wedding in September.
