Or, more specifically, a neurotic mind in my case.
I might be exaggerating just a wee bit.
My second bedroom is currently serving three purposes:
1. Office. It has my computer and computery things.
2. Taylor's Room. His ridiculously over-sized dog crate is in one corner. {I crate him at night.}
3. Catch-all. If I haven't found a place for something yet, it's in this room {and not neatly}. That includes boxes of random odds and ends, framed photos I haven't hung yet, books, books, and more books, craft stuff {some of which is in my garage... that's another issue}, camera gear, etc. The stuff is crammed in the closet, in cardboard boxes, and/or dumped around the floor.
And it's driving me nuts.
Especially #3.
I would post a photo... but that would just fuel the fire of my neurotic-ness.
And it's slightly embarrassing.
So I've been on a mission to figure out WHAT exactly I want to do with this room.
The overall "vision" I have is that it will be my Office/Craft Room that Taylor happens to sleep in. Basically the same purposes listed above but with more style and order. Mostly more order... in a way that brings me peace instead of... well, the opposite of peace.
I want to be able to pay my bills and keep my household ish in order. No more plastic file tubs and no more piles of random stuff on the desk!
I want to be able to make nice cards for my friends and not have to pull out 6 different boxes from the top shelves of the closet to get what I need.
I haven't figured out exactly how to do this yet, but I think this is a start:

Oh Pottery Barn, how I wish I could afford you. Instead you tempt me and frustrate me and finally inspire me.
I like...
-- The L-shape desk.
-- Real file drawers.
-- A work space with the computer and a separate work surface for crafts/other things.
Now I just need to figure how to get something like that for much less moo-lah, plus more storage. {I have a LOT of crafting gear.}
